We want you to have a place you are proud to call home

We know that when responsible tenants live in tidy homes owned by responsible landlords, everybody wins.

We’ll be up-front and honest about our expectations and your obligations as a tenant. In return, we’ll ensure that your home is well-maintained and that any issues are dealt with as soon as possible.

We understand that trying to find a new home can be stressful. Some of the ways we help make the whole process easier are:

  • we try to make viewings at times that suit you

  • when you make an application for one of our properties we aim to let you know the outcome within 48 hours

  • if your application is successful we quickly get all the paperwork to you so you can start making plans

  • we assist with advice on connecting utilities

  • we are always only a phone call or text away

  • we keep on top of maintenance issues that may arise during your tenancy

Maintenance requests

It is our policy that tenants request all repairs or maintenance in writing. Please submit a maintenance request using the button above - when you click through you will find our ‘Quick Fix Guidelines’ - if these do not resolve the issue then please complete the maintenance request form.

Insurance

We recommend you make sure you have adequate renters' insurance cover. This not only protects your own belongings but with the correct insurance cover you will be protected for any costs arising if you/your visitors cause any damage to your landlord’s property or chattels. Before I moved in Firsthand sent me lots of information about my new rental, and how to sort out electricity, gas etc. Their ‘Welcome Home Pack’ was really useful and just made the whole process so much easier. If I ever have any questions I just text Valeria and she gets back so quickly. Thanks!

Thank you very much for everything and that you always respond to our queries. Our friends just found a place through another property management company, and the agent is just ignoring them now that they’ve moved in. Just made us realize how lucky we are to have ended up with you.
